Temporary Recruitment and On-boarding Coordinator

Our client in the Care industry is seeking a Temporary Recruitment and On-boarding Coordinator to support their team in the recruitment of talented individuals.

This is a full-time temporary contract with a duration of one month, starting on Monday 17th June

Responsibilities:

Maintain the candidate database and handle necessary paperwork in collaboration with the Human Resources department.
Keep the recruitment applicant tracking system up-to-date with candidates and vacancies.
Schedule interviews, update calendars, answer calls, and respond to emails.
Conduct initial screening of applicants to ensure minimum hiring requirements are met.
Engage in phone conversations with prospective candidates to verify their previous experience, skills, career aspirations, and reasons for wanting to join our client.
Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring availability for both interviewers and candidates.
Source and identify candidates from job sites, LinkedIn, and social media platforms.
Prepare and post job advertisements online and on social media.
Compile HR documents and create staff files.
Assist successful candidates with the on-boarding process, including document preparation and providing guidance.
Prepare and submit outgoing reference requests.
Conduct checks and submit employee references.
Process background checks and verify applicant information, including Right to Work checks, identity verification, and DBS requests.
Ensure compliance with valid Right to Work and DBS checks for current staff.
Evaluate and improve recruitment performance using metrics analysis.
Provide information and assistance to management and staff on recruitment issues.
Attend staff meetings to provide necessary information when required.
Perform other related duties as required.Essential Skills and Experience:

Minimum of one year's experience working in a recruitment role, with knowledge of relevant recruitment legislation, policies, and procedures.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
Familiarity with standard hiring practises, such as scheduling interviews and on-boarding processes.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
