£12.71 per hour
Various shifts between 8:00am and 6:30pm

Here at Elizabeth Michael we are currently recruiting for an experienced GP Receptionist / NHS Receptionist to join a busy GP practice in the Nottingham City area on a temporary basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous GP reception, NHS reception, medical reception or healthcare administration experience who is confident working in a busy patient-facing environment.
The Role
As a GP Receptionist, you will be responsible for:

Welcoming patients and providing a friendly and professional first point of contact
*
Answering incoming calls and dealing with patient queries
*
Booking and managing appointments
*
Using the practice's clinical and appointment systems
*
Handling confidential patient information appropriately
*
Supporting the wider practice team with general administration
*
Liaising with GPs, nurses and other members of the practice team
*
Working in line with NHS and practice procedures
About You
We are looking for someone who:
*
Has previous experience within GP reception, NHS reception, medical reception or a similar healthcare setting
*
Is confident dealing with patients both face-to-face and over the telephone
*
Has excellent communication and customer service skills
*
Is organised and able to work calmly in a busy environment
*
Understands the importance of confidentiality
*
Is reliable, professional and punctual
*
Can adapt to different shift patterns
