Description:

Temporary Marketing Executive required by a leading membership organisation in central London.

The temporary staff member will support the development and promotion of the activities of two sub brands of the organisation. The post holder will work closely with the teams, as well as with other key stakeholders, to understand customer requirements, implement propositions and develop engaging multichannel campaigns that appeal to the target audience and meet commercial objectives.

This is an ONGOING TEMPORARY role, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday – hybrid working (2 days office and 3 days working from home) – offices located in central London (TFL Zone 1).

Pay rate – circa £16.00 to £17.00 per hour (PAYE).

Duties:

Work closely with the Manager to define and implement the annual marketing and digital strategy across B2C and B2B channels for training and venue hire.

Create and implement high-volume, multi-channel marketing campaigns across the commercial department, with responsibility from concept to completion, including project management and selection of appropriate (online and offline) distribution channels.

Project  manage  the  production  and  distribution  of  promotional  materials  and  copy (brochures, banners, website, merchandise, signage, advertising, PR etc.).

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to ensure that the commercial proposition is clear and effectively expressed.

Create, proof and edit copy to support promotional and PR activity across integrated online/offline channels (internal and external publications/audiences).

Assist with the planning, preparation and scheduling of social media posts and sharing guides to support campaign launches.

Manage, facilitate and implement the production of digital marketing campaigns, including, targeted emails and on-line advertising where applicable.

Implementing SMART goals against each campaign to assist in future reporting.

Monitor the impact of specific campaigns and tactics, reviewing booking/ order/ seasonal patterns and reporting on tactical and cost effectiveness.

Use web and marketing analytics tools to report on campaign effectiveness and results. Evaluate, monitor and advise the Manager on competition/ competitors and related activity as a means of informing future campaigns and tactics.

Plan and manage marketing activities within allocated budgets, highlighting to the Manager potential for overspend or underutilisation of budget, and reporting on the cost effectiveness of campaigns.
Key requirements:

Previous marketing experience working in a training, conferences and events, hospitality, venue or a commercial-led environment.

Marketing degree, or equivalent experience of working in marketing in a matrix organisation.

Proven experience of applying marketing tactics to generate leads (both traditional and digital).

Demonstrable experience of creating or managing multichannel campaigns. Experience using email marketing and content management systems.

Proven experience of managing email, social media and advertising channels.

Highly creative, with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.

Proactive and results focused, able to achieve objectives and take every opportunity to overperform.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience of writing web copy and collaborating with more senior stakeholders.

Able to work autonomously and flexibly, and to collaborate with others across the business to achieve group goals.

Competent in developing, administering and using PC and associated networks and systems (e.g. Microsoft Office) to acquire, manipulate and disseminate information
