Description:
Interim Management Accountant required to cover a period of between 3 - 6 months, based in Sheffield with hybrid working (3 days per week at home.)
The role is required to assist with accurate financial reporting by reconciling accruals and prepayments, analysing data, and providing insightful commentary.
Responsibilities:
* Lead accurate posting of financial transactions and reconciliations.
* Deliver timely accounting information for month-end close.
* Analyse financial data and liaise with budget holders.
* Develop accurate reports to monitor key performance areas.
* Review performance data, analyse variances, and resolve issues.
* Build strong relationships to support operational teams.
* Provide complex financial information for forecasts and budgets.
* Assist in preparing financial statements for audits.
