I am recruiting for a HR Administrator to join a busy on an ongoing temporary basis until December 2024.

You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department and assisting with various HR functions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of human resources principles, and experience within a similar role.

Duties:

* Assist with redundancy processes including communications in letters

Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in PeopleSoft

* Conduct all people related administrative processes on Peoplesoft, issuing documentation for new starters, terms and conditions changes, leaver correspondence and payroll notification.

* Record and produce people related management information (including absence, headcount, turnover and Occupational Health etc..)

* Ensure Occupational Health compliance through the organisation of risk assessment determined health surveillance

* Attend and contribute to employee relations activities issuing appropriate documentation, acting as note taker

* Liaise with agencies regarding temporary supply of workers

* Provide ‘first line’ sensitive, confidential and developmental advice to Managers in line with internal policy

This is a very 'hands on' site so you will need to be able to get involved in other duties when necessary and support the small office based team, e.g. ordering of stationary, create and publish internal communications, post etc..

Duties required for this role-
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a human resources department
- Strong knowledge of human resources principles and practices
- Proficiency in data entry and record keeping
- Computer literate with all Microsoft Packages including Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

This is a male orientated environment which candidates must feel comfortable within.

Hours are Monday- Friday (Apply online only).

This role is based in the office, hybrid or remote working is NOT available.

Successful candidates will need to be available to start by the end of May
