We are seeking a Temporary Finance Assistant to join a busy finance team in Burton upon Trent. Reporting to the Finance Team Leader, you will support Accounts Payable and general finance administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing high volumes of purchase invoices and credit notes.
* Managing supplier accounts and reconciling supplier statements.
* Maintaining creditor ledgers and allocating incoming payments.
* Handling finance queries via a shared mailbox.
* Setting up new suppliers and updating customer/supplier portals.
* Supporting month-end activities and ad hoc finance tasks.
About You:
* Previous experience in accounts, finance administration, or a similar role.
* Understanding of accounts payable processes.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and IT skills.
* Able to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
