JOB TITLE: Events and Marketing Executive

LOCATION: Ashford, Kent (mainly working from home)

SALARY: £15ph to £20ph

TERM: 6 month maternity cover

HOURS: 37.5hrs Monday to Friday (flexible working hours)

START: Immediately

This brilliant employer offer predominantly home working, flexible working hours to fit around your home/family life, all with the support of an established team. As this is a temporary role you must be available almost immediately, however there could also be permanent opportunities on offer in the future for the right candidate.

With your exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and executing a variety of events. From speaking with delegates and arranging travel to sending invitations and agendas, you will ensure that every aspect of our events is flawlessly executed.

Key Responsibilities:

Speak with delegates to provide exceptional customer service and address any queries or concerns.
Arrange travel and accommodation for delegates, ensuring a seamless experience.
Coordinate invitations and agendas, ensuring timely distribution and accurate information.
Utilise advanced Outlook features, such as mail merge, to streamline communication with delegates.
Proficiently set up Zoom and MS Teams calls for virtual events.
Demonstrate structured thinking and writing skills when creating clear and concise email instructions or information.
Utilise a website content management system (CMS), specifically WYSIWYG, to update event details and communicate relevant information.
Collaborate with the team to co-create and organise events, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.Required Skills and Qualifications:

Previous experience in event coordination or a related role.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook and advanced features, including mail merge.
Experience setting up Zoom and MS Teams calls for virtual events.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience using a website content management system (CMS), preferably with knowledge of WYSIWYG.
