Description

Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports
Ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded
Supporting the team in maintaining the organisation's financial systems and processes
Providing administrative support to the Accounting & Finance Department
Assisting with budget preparation and control
Liaising with external auditors and managing internal audits
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
Participating in the development of financial policies and proceduresProfile

A successful Temporary Assistant Accountant should have:

A strong background in accounting and finance
Either strong experience in a similar role or an Accountancy and Finance degree
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
A solid understanding of financial regulations and procedures

An estimated hourly salary of £13 to £15 per hour
3 month contract with chance to extend to a permanent role
