Paying up to £15.00 per hour - Based in Heywood in North Manchester, our client is an established engineering firm that offers a great working environment. Due to illness, they are looking for a temporary Administrator to join their HR team for 2 weeks (potentially longer), starting immediately. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join and support a successful HR department. This is an office-based role, working 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday-Friday.
THE JOB
Reporting to the UK HR Director, as HR Administrator you will be fully responsible for supporting the HR Director and HR Team with all associated HR administration, such as:
Writing job descriptions and liaising with recruiters
Arranging interviews and taking feedback
Typing offers of employment and formal contracts
Updating existing contracts where necessary regarding changes with legislation
Supporting the HR team with the administration of new starters
Completing any general administration tasks as required
THE PERSON
Previous administration experience is essential
HR administration experience would be preferred but is not essential
Confident with using MS Office and Excel
A meticulous attention to detail
Strong all round administration ability
A discreet, empathetic, and confidential nature
Open and adaptable to change
A flexible and enthusiastic approach
