Telecoms Package Manager (London Underground)
18 Month contract from July 2024 (IR35 assessment to be completed)

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecoms Package Manager from an M&E background, with significant experience in construction and contract delivery roles with tier 1/2 contractors. Strong knowledge of construction industry and railway standards will be essential. In this role, you will play a critical role in coordinating and overseeing the integration of Telecoms Packages within a major London Underground depot project in East London.
You will have strong leaderships skills, being able to work autonomously and be accountable for telecoms packages from design to installation and handover. You will also be responsible for the development and training of a team of engineers and site managers, to grow the capacity and capability of our mechanical engineering services.
You will manage and co-ordinate our design teams, supply chain partners and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of telecom systems into the wider M&E and buildings scope.
Skills and Experience
Essential:

HND minimum in Engineering, Telecommunication, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in large multi-discipline rail or infrastructure projects within a tier 1/2 contractor
Expert knowledge in various telecommunication, signalling and radio systems
Strong knowledge of rail industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Strong knowledge of Project and Construction Management principles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of the management of different forms of contract (i.e. NEC, JCT etc.)
Ability to analyse complex systems integration challenges and develop effective solutions.
Experience with the development of project programmeTelecoms Package Manager day rate negotiable
