Telecoms Civils Lead / Ganger

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Civils Lead / Ganger in Wiltshire. 

Reporting to the Civils Manager, you will oversee teams of 2-3 civils operatives and support the smooth running of the works while maintaining high H&S standards.

You will have strong people skills and be ready to get involved in whatever your team needs. You will also have problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the desire and passion to lead a team and promote company values.

The main duties include but are not limited to:

Managing a team of 2-3 operatives.
Report daily activity and completions.
Drive & Operate excavation machinery and equipment.
Identify potential issues and provide solutions.
Ensuring that machinery is maintained.
Work within Health and Safety requirements. 
Provide training for new team members.
The Ideal candidate must possess the following skills and experience:

Minimum 2 years of industry (telecoms or Utilities) experience.
Effective Leadership and Communications Skills.
Self-motivated, and able to motivate others effectively.
NRSWA Accreditation
CSCS Card
Experienced in using plant and machinery with relevant tickets
Digger Ticket.
Prior experience working across multiple terrains.
Full UK Driving Licence (No more than 6 points)
