All Together Education Recruitment is seeking a Technology Teacher for an independent specialist SEMH school in Rochdale.
The school supports pupils across KS2–KS4 with Education, Health and Care Plans. It takes a trauma-informed approach, focusing on positive relationships and engaging pupils through practical learning.
The role

Deliver practical courses in construction, engineering or a related area of DT.

Plan engaging lessons that develop practical skills, confidence and independence.
*
Adapt teaching to individual needs and EHCP outcomes.
*
Establish positive relationships and consistent classroom routines.
*
Maintain safe working practices with tools, equipment and materials.
*
Work with colleagues to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
The ideal candidate
*
Experience teaching construction, engineering or practical DT.
*
A relevant teaching qualification.
*
A patient, consistent approach and strong relationship-building skills.
*
Experience supporting SEMH or SEND learners would be an advantage.
