Electrical / Mechanical Technicians
Up to £20.00 per hour DOE | Enhanced Overtime Rates | Permanent | On-Site
KAP Technical are recruiting Electrical / Mechanical Technicians on behalf of an established manufacturing business that is expanding its production team.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys practical engineering, building and assembling equipment, and seeing a project through from start to finish.
As an Electrical / Mechanical Technician, you will work as part of the production team, supporting the build, assembly and installation of electrical and mechanical equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:

Building and assembling electrical and mechanical equipment.

Working from engineering drawings, wiring schematics and production specifications.

Completing assembly work accurately and within agreed production timescales.
*
Following established workshop, manufacturing and production procedures.

Identifying and resolving straightforward technical and assembly issues.
*
Working collaboratively with other members of the production team to complete projects.
*
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required quality standards.
*
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
*
Contributing ideas and supporting continuous improvement across the production process.
