Description:
Talentmark are recruiting for a Flexible Technician to join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis for 6 months, with high likelihood of being extended further. This role is site based in Reading (Berkshire) and Wokingham (Surrey).

Salary:
£13.35 per hour, 36 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9 am to 5 pm with a 45 minute lunch break.
Technician Role:
Flexibly work in different laboratories across both Wokingham and Reading sites, as required.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Food Safety Procedures to produce food products at lab scale or manufacturing scale.
Perform basic routine analysis, product manufacturing and sample preparation under senior supervision.
Use the LIMS (Q-Pulse) system to record information.
Keep an organised and accurate record of lab work carried out.
Calibrate lab equipment as required.Your Background:
Educated up to A-Level/HNC/BTEC level in a Science.
Experience of working with food – e.g. in a restaurant, café or in food production.
Flexible and adaptable in a workplace, enjoying the challenge of adapting to different teams and environments.
Passionate about Science.
Passionate about Food.
Meticulous and organised, with strong attention to detail.
Laboratory experience would be advantageous.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and a fast learner.Apply:
