VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
Location: Boston
Salary: Basic Salary up to £42,000 | OTE up to £49,000
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, plus Saturdays on a rota, 8:30am to 1:00pm

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a modern, well-equipped dealership in Boston.
With a basic salary of up to £42,000 and OTE up to £49,000, this role offers excellent earning potential alongside ongoing manufacturer training and the opportunity to develop towards Qualified Service Technician and Master Technician status.

THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs.
Your duties will include:
·Routine servicing and maintenance
·Mechanical and electrical repairs
·Diagnostics and fault finding
·Suspension, steering and brake repairs
·Wheel bearings, driveshafts and exhaust systems
·Air conditioning servicing
·Working on EV and Hybrid vehicles
·Using electronic diagnostic equipment
·Fitting manufacturer accessories and audio equipment
·Completing vehicle health checks and associated paperwork
·Using video reporting systems such as CitNOW
·Working to manufacturer and dealership standards
·Supporting and sharing knowledge with the wider workshop team
 
ABOUT YOU
You will ideally have experience as a Vehicle Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, MOT Tester or Automotive Technician.
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent, is preferred, although candidates currently working towards their qualification will also be considered.
EV and Hybrid qualifications would be advantageous, but full training is available. An MOT licence is also beneficial but not essential.
You will need:
·Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
·Diagnostic and fault-finding ability
·A commitment to high-quality workmanship
·The ability to work effectively within a busy workshop
·A full UK driving licence
