Technical Medical Support Engineer
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Job Overview:

The Technical Support Engineer role is pivotal in delivering comprehensive technical assistance across diverse departments. The primary responsibilities include overseeing spare parts data management, facilitating procurement operations, ensuring database accuracy, and occasionally providing on-site support for equipment repairs and testing.

Responsibilities:

Offer technical assistance across various departments.
Manage spare parts data integrity and supplier relationships.
Support spare part identification and pricing negotiations with OEMs.
Maintain database accuracy as per established standards.
Enhance spare part data by correlating with equipment models.
Conduct data mining activities and generate insightful reports.
Provide occasional on-site assistance for biomedical equipment repairs.
Ensure compliance with quality assurance and safety policies.
Undertake additional tasks assigned by the Technical Support Manager.
Travel across the UK for operational duties and training sessions as required.

Key Accountabilities:

Provide direct support to the Technical Support team.
Demonstrate proficiency in the ordering system.
Review parts orders and interventions based on biomedical expertise.
Collaborate with line managers to process biomedical orders efficiently.

Performance Indicators:

Innovate and optimize processes to ensure timely responses to information requests and maintain data integrity.

Candidate Profile:

Skills and Experience
Essential

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Electronics, or Medical Technologies (e.g., Biomedical Engineering).
Experience in servicing and repairing medical equipment.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in MS Office Applications.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Possession of a full UK driving license
