Engineering @ 365 are currently working with a market leader in their respected field who are recruiting for a technical support engineer for their UK headquarters based in Worcester on a permanent basis.
Job Description:
Engineering @ 365 is recruiting for a leading provider of calibration services, specialising in precision measurement equipment across various industries including manufacturing, healthcare, aerospace, and automotive. They are looking for a technical support engineer to support their business needs on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing support to both customers and engineers regarding machinery installation calibration and repairs.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to calibration equipment, including but not limited to oscilloscopes, pressure gauges, temperature controllers, and torque wrenches.
* Working with both field engineers and customers advising on training and best practice for machinery and usage.
* Maintain detailed records of technical support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions within the company database to share to both field engineers and customers.
* Liaising with the customer support team to ensure the correct information is provided to relevant sites to both customers and clients.
Requirements:
* Qualifications within an engineering discipline
* Knowledge of electronic principles
* Ability to liaise with both customers and clients advising on best practice and creating solutions for both parties.
* Ability to work and think independently as well as part of a team.
* Experience with both mechatronic and hydraulic machines.
