Technical Supervisor
Reading, Berkshire
Permanent/ Full Time
Salary up to £48,000 + O/T
PRS are currently recruiting a hands on Technical Supervisor to look after a team of 4 engineers on a commercial site in Reading. Supervising and Leading a team of Engineers responsible for the front-line management of the day-to-day delivery of Hard Services.
Technical Supervisor Responsibilities
The Hard FM Supervisor/Senior Electrician will be accountable for the performance of the Hard FM, (including building fabric) contract and take an active role in ensuring service failures are kept to a minimum.
Deliver effective PPM and reactive building maintenance
Take part in Appraisal/ Performance reviews including recognition of training and development needs.
Participate in departmental team meetings and client DSS morning meetings when required.
Technical Supervisor Requirements
City and Guilds or Equivalent recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering
Completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship
Proficient IT skills, including Excel, Word & Microsoft office, and use of CAFM systems and PDAs.
Demonstrated previous experience of management of Hard FM / Technical Services Contracts
Services management experience of people and commercial issues
Strong analytical skills with a strong bias towards P&L financial managementTechnical Supervisor Benefits
