Astute's Power team exclusively partnering with a leader in the horticultural industry to recruit a Technical Salesperson for the team. Ideally this person would be based within a commutable distance of the office in Hull, but candidates from elsewhere in the UK will also be considered.
The Technical Salesperson role comes with a salary of between £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, a car allowance, laptop and mobile.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Sales Manager you will:
Identify and develop relationships with existing and prospective clients within the horticultural industry.
Attend site visits across the UK, conducting assessments to understand client requirements for tailored glasshouse system solutions.
Develop and present sale proposals effectively to demonstrate the value of the company's services.
On closing, oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle from concept through to handover to the client.
Ensure project milestones are met within budget and on time by collaborating with cross functional teams, including engineering, design and installation.
Develop technical knowledge of horticultural technologies to assist clients in selecting the most suitable glasshouse systems for their needs.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Proven experience in sales within the horticultural industry or similar.
Strong project management skills with experience overseeing complex projects.
In depth knowledge of horticultural systems, greenhouse technologies and related equipment would be an advantage.
Personal skills
The Technical Salesperson role would suit someone who is:
Commercially minded and able to deliver against targets.
An excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills.
Happy to work across the UK when required
