· Salary: £30,000-£35,000 a year (dependant on experience)

An experienced Sales Support Specialist / Technical Sales Administrator is required to join an expanding engineering company.

Coming into the company at an exciting time during the next expansion phase, you’ll take a key role in the evolution of the company’s sales operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

· Reporting to the Sales Director, you’ll be a key back-office figure in the Sales department

· Quote preparation for the sale of technical equipment, spares and service agreements

· transition of data from a legacy system to a new CRM

· Proposal preparation

· Handling incoming customer sales queries

· Vendor set-up administration

· Providing marketing with relevant sales data

· Taking the lead in the continued digitising of new and historic data in preparation of a new CRM introduction.

· Creating and managing a market intelligence databank to assist with sales activity

What You’ll Bring to the Team

· Proven experience in a similar role is essential, preferably from a technical/engineering background

· Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision – this position comes with a lot of autonomy and working off your own initiative

· Adaptable to handle changing requirements and deadlines – you’re joining a business going through an evolution as it continues to succeed and grow

· A good level of IT literacy
