Technical Sales Manager
Fully Remote
£65,000 + Company Car Allowance and additional benefits
Our client is a specialist engineering solutions company that focus on electronic system applications across a wide range of industries including defence, aerospace and energy sectors. They are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to join their existing senior team, managing the sensor/electronic application projects and drive business growth for the division.
Technical Sales Manager Responsibilities;
- Identify new customers and target markets for the sensor product range
- Follow up and develop new business opportunities with both new and existing clients
- Liaise with key decision makers and provide technical product knowledge
- Successfully negotiate, implement and manage business contracts
- Travel to customer sites and events when required across the UK
- Work to agreed KPIs
- Provide technical support to customers and the wider engineering teams
Technical Sales Manager Requirements
- Educated to degree level in relatable engineering disciplines such as electronic engineering
- Experienced in electronic sensors and electronic engineering applications
- Proven experience working in a technical sales position
- Must be willing to travel to client sites and business expos when required.
- Experienced in business development and identifying growth areas
- Selling products requiring design and manufacture
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
