Technical Sales Estimator
Prodrive Recruitment Consultants Ltd are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Estimator to join our well-established clients based in Moreton-in-Marsh. Due to continued growth, our clients are looking to expand their busy sales team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, technical knowledge, and excellent organisational and numeracy skills.
Main Responsibilities:
* Meeting customers face to face in the showroom and on site to discuss individual requirements and technical specifications
* Attending occasional client visits
* Learning the different products that are manufactured in-house and maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and industry standards
* Reading and understanding client drawings and specifications
* Assisting with the preparation of competitive estimates and quotations
* Obtaining and comparing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
* Using computerised estimating software to prepare quotations
* Chasing up sent quotations and resolving any details
* Maintaining accurate estimating records and documentation
* Adhoc tasks as required from time to time
Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience in technical sales, sales engineering, sales support or sales coordination
* Experience within an engineering, manufacturing, construction or technical environment
* Proficiency in CAD software, or a strong willingness and ability to learn.
* Strong understanding of technical drawing principles.
* Ability to interpret design briefs and technical specifications.
* Pays excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong communication skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* A flexible Team Player
Salary: £30k per annum + company benefits
Hours of work: 8.00 am - 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday, 8.00 am - 4.00 pm Friday
Full time - Permanent Contract.
