The company now have an exciting opportunity in Scotland for a dynamic and forward thinking Technical Sales Engineer.
The Role
The Technical Sales Engineer will inherit a successful area and be responsible for developing and strengthening an existing customer base along with developing new business. The customer base will consist of mainly of OEMs with some End Users and Distribution.
* Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the sales area.
* Work with existing and new customers in diverse market sectors comprising of Manufacturers, End Users, and Distributors
* Proactively increase sales in both new and existing accounts.
* Focussing primarily on the following - Inverters, Servos, Motion Controllers, and decentralized products. (Some Mechanical Geared Motors, Industrial Gears, and Service sales.)
* Work independently from home while managing your own time.
* Collaborate closely with internal and external colleagues.
Requirements
* BSc/HNC/HNC/ONC/BTEC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or any similar qualification
* Proven experience within the Controls and Automation industry, ideally with some knowledge of Mechanical Power Transmission
* Previous Sales Engineer or Application Engineer experience in Controls and Automaton
* Good understanding of sales processes.
* Solid technical knowledge in Motor control, including Inverter Drives.
* Familiarity with Motor/Motion Control, including Inverter Drives, and experience with Sizing Software for Motion Control products would be advantageous.
