The Role
We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to steer the strategic direction of our sales department.
Responsibilities:
Manage and expand the sales pipeline
Identify new markets for high-value industrial automation solutions
Ensure an effective sales strategy and foster strong commercial relationships
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project scopes and deliver accurate bids
Create compelling, persuasive bid content tailored to client needs
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersLocation:
Dorset (with travel across the UK and occasional overseas trips)
About You
Proven experience in a senior technical sales role within aerospace or automation, and/or composites.
Successful track record in delivering effective and profitable sales strategies
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills
Experience supporting bid processes from start to finish
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability
Demonstrable leadership skills and team motivation
