Description:
We are working with an industrial manufacturer based in Huntingdon who are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position and offers hybrid working. The successful candidate will be based in the UK but will be expected to travel internationally up to 3 months per year (usually 2-week trips)
Key responsibilities will include:
Driving business growth against agreed targets
Offering a consultative sales approach to ensure that the best solution is provided
Working closely with a range of key stakeholders internationally
Delivering product demonstrations at customer sites internationally
Managing and developing key accounts
Providing install support, on-site training, and ongoing technical guidance
Generating leads and developing new business whilst increasing brand awareness
The successful candidate will have:
An engineering background with hands on technical experience
B2B sales experience working with components, services, or machinery
Experience selling into a range of industries
Strong problem-solving skills
A role currently where international travel is involved or looking to develop their career in this direction
Experience working with international teams
