Technical Sales Engineer

Our client, based in Norfolk, is seeking an experienced and progressive Technical Sales Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take your technical sales capabilities to the next level and contribute to a more sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical sales expertise for commercial and industrial solar projects, including rooftop, carport, and ground arrays across the UK.
Conduct site surveys to assess electrical systems and develop design solutions for solar energy systems from a commercial standpoint.
Specify equipment such as breakers, cables, and inverters, ensuring all technical aspects of the projects are feasible and efficient.
Collaborate with the broader team to develop and present compelling proposals to potential clients.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance the company’s offerings and processes.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Technical Sales Engineer, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
Strong understanding of commercial and industrial solar energy systems.
Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems and solar equipment.
Ability to conduct detailed site surveys and develop effective design solutions.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and persuasively.
Proactive, innovative, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

What We Offer:
