About the Role:
Due to ongoing growth, our well-established client is seeking a skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with clear career progression paths.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate estimates and quotations within required deadlines.
Support and collaborate with the sales team to achieve targets.
Maintain strong communication with customers to understand their needs.
Occasionally visit sites and customer facilities for enquiries or project discussions.
Represent the company at industry exhibitions alongside the sales team.
Participate in relevant training and development activities.
Utilize CAD drawing and 3D modelling skills where applicable (advantageous but not essential).
Perform other duties as assigned by the Sales Director.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience estimating in an engineering or fabrication environment.
Background in technical sales and customer service.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to develop accurate quotations.
Personable, professional, and articulate communicator.
Solid understanding of sales principles and processes.
Degree or HNC/HND in an engineering discipline is desirable but not essential.
Experience with CAD drawing and 3D modelling is a plus.
What We Offer:
Salary: £30,000 to £32,000 per annum (DOE).
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Full-time, Permanent position.
