Description:
Technical Sales Engineer required for my client who work within the air conditioning and ventilation industry, of manufacturing and building services, based in Ascot.
They are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an internal technical sales and support engineering within the mechanical division of their air conditioning and ventilation products.
The suitable candidate would come from a building services design or education, ideally with a mechanical understanding of water and air systems and their application, installation and control.
This is not a suitable position for a candidate with an IT educational background or work experience.
A candidate with a keen HVAC interest and experience in sales and customer support is well suited to this position.
Technical Sales Engineer Position Overview
Provide technical support to external sales representatives and customers
Select and schedule technical information for building services consultancies, architects and contractors
Assist in the preparation of sales proposals and quotations
Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Promote our products
Continuously update product knowledge and stay current with industry developments
Technical Sales Engineer Position Requirements
Degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
A building services design or education, ideally with a mechanical understanding of water and air systems and their application, installation and control.
Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning and ventilation systems is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
Based within a commutable distance of Ascot.
Full UK driving licence is beneficial.
Technical Sales Engineer Position Remuneration
Salary - £25,000 to £30,000 - dependent upon skills, experience, qualifications.
