Technical Sales Administrator – Hazardous Waste Management

Location: Based in the North West region, and you may live in Horwich, Blackrod and nearby locations.

Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £28,000, accompanied by pension benefits.

About the Role:

This position has been known by various titles such as Key Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, Internal Account Manager, Customer Retention Officer, Account Retention Manager, Sales Manager, and Commercial Sales Manager.

Experience Needed:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent interpersonal abilities to nurture relationships with both new and existing clients.
Previous experience in Technical Sales Administration, with any background in Waste Management considered.
Expertise in handling Hazardous waste categories like Clinical waste, WEEE waste, Tankering, or White goods is essential.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
Candidates with an HNC in Chemistry or higher are preferred.
At least one year of experience in hazardous waste management.
Familiarity with WM3 waste classification is desirable.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently manage a substantial portfolio of client accounts.
Build and reinforce client relationships through consistent communication.
Provide timely and accurate quotations in response to client inquiries.
Primarily perform duties within an office environment.
The ideal candidate will excel in resolving potential contract cancellations and achieving high retention rates. Additionally, they will play a vital role in promoting sustainable Waste Management practices through evidence-based contract development.
