About the Opportunity
Paradigm Employment Services are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established international engineering and manufacturing business for an experienced R&D / Technical Manager.
Reporting into the Technical Director, you'll lead a small technical team while overseeing the development of new electronic hardware products from concept through to manufacture. This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on technical expertise with leadership and product innovation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a small R&D technical team
* Manage the development of new electronic hardware products
* Produce technical specifications and product documentation
* Liaise with suppliers throughout the product development process
* Support PCB/electronic board development
* Drive continuous product improvement and innovation
* Work closely with production and technical teams to ensure successful product delivery
About You
You'll ideally have:
* Degree (or equivalent) in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
* Experience managing technical or engineering teams
* Strong electronics design and product development experience
* Knowledge of PCB/electronic board development
* Experience working with suppliers and technical stakeholders
* Understanding of manufacturing processes and product development
* Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
