Description:

Technical Project Engineer | Mechanical Engineer | Building Services | HVAC

We are recruiting for an experienced Technical Project Engineer to join a well-established engineering business specialising in HVAC and Building Services solutions.

This position is ideal for a Mechanical Engineer or Building Services Engineer with experience managing technical projects, producing engineered solutions and supporting commercial construction projects from design through to completion.

You'll become part of a collaborative engineering team where technical ability, problem solving and customer support are valued just as highly as project delivery.

The Role

As a Technical Project Engineer, you will take responsibility for managing projects through every stage of the process, working closely with consultants, contractors, M&E specialists and internal engineering teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Reviewing technical specifications and engineering enquiries.

* Producing HVAC and ventilation system selections.

* Developing practical engineering solutions to meet project requirements.

* Preparing technical quotations and supporting documentation.

* Providing technical support throughout project delivery.

* Coordinating with internal engineering, estimating and project teams.

* Attending design meetings and site visits when required.

* Managing project information and maintaining accurate technical records.

* Supporting successful project handover into manufacture and delivery.

This is a technically focused role with genuine ownership of projects rather than a purely commercial position.

About You

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

* HNC, HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.

* Experience within HVAC, ventilation, air distribution or mechanical building services.

* Experience working within construction, M&E contracting or manufacturing.

* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.

* Strong technical problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Experience using Microsoft Office and engineering or ERP systems.

* Ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously.

Applicants from Building Services, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, M&E Contracting or Technical Engineering backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

What's on Offer

* Competitive salary.

* Company pension.

* Life assurance.

* Ongoing technical training.

* Supportive engineering team.

* Interesting and varied technical projects.

If you're an experienced Mechanical or Building Services Engineer looking for a technically challenging role where you can take ownership of projects and work on high-quality engineering solutions, we'd like to hear from you.
