Position: Technical Project Manager

Location: North London (1-2 days a week in the office)

Salary: £50,000

My client are looking for an organised, enthusiastic, and engaging Technical Project Manager to be part of their growing team. They are the UK's largest health role play provider with over a quarter of a century's experience in the sector and are the leaders in medical examinations with their software package. They deliver a high standard of service to national and international healthcare clients. They are based in a newly refurbished North London office, and you will have the opportunity to work in-house and remotely.
The successful candidate will be joining a family-run business, a team of fourteen and thousands of role players. They are looking for someone who has passion and drive to help solve clients' problems and someone who compliments their ethos of caring about the quality of every aspect of their job. Above all, they want someone approachable and kind, who takes pride in everything they do.

Their online platform:

You will be responsible for crafting and executing project roadmaps that span specific projects and cross-functional initiatives.
You will develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan aligned with Professional Role Player's overarching business goals.
You will orchestrate the allocation of resources and oversee the complete project development lifecycle.
Ensure projects create all necessary documentation to enable the IT Service team to fully support the solution after the project has concluded.
Collaborate with our dev team with sprint planning
Manage project risks and escalate if appropriate.
Facilitate project progress meetings with the team.
Contribute to creative problem solutions.
Report project progress to internal stakeholders and clients.
Building online assessments and training courses on their bespoke software
Updating/amending examination content where necessary
Providing end to end support to our clients via email and online meetings
On the day Osler examination support
Training end-users on the platform.
Supporting with live demonstrations of the product
Support with UAT of our software where necessary by building test sites and/or testing development items
Supporting senior members of staff with any required duties

Competencies:

Outstanding project management and organisational skills, with a systematic approach to handling complex projects with excellent attention to detail.
Strong time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise according to a task's importance and provide timely resolution of any issues.
A practical approach to problem-solving, taking an active interest in finding creative solutions to difficulties encountered.
Are articulate with excellent all-round communication skills, including the ability to deliver feedback and difficult messages, when required.
Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
A good team player who is confident working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Ability to use own initiative when necessary.
A quick learner, able to pick up an understanding of our business rapidly.
Possess a 'can-do' attitude with an ability to spot and act on opportunities to improve processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or higher.
Previous experience of working closely with a software team and mapping out the technical requirements
Strong JIRA experience
Efficient, friendly, and passionate about doing everything possible to support clients and role players.
A genuine interest in the medical field and 'tech for good.'
