Job Title: Technical Operator
£40,000 Basic Salary - Overtime | Bonus | Career Progression
Monday - Friday - Day Shift
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Technical Operator to support the day-to-day running of a busy power generation plant. The Technical Operator will be responsible for planning and scheduling of routine maintenance, plant outages, site permits and have ownership of risk assessments and work procedures.
Day To Day Responsibilities:
* Work with authorised operational personnel to ensure the necessary electrical, mechanical and other hazardous-energy isolations are in place.
* Check that the relevant RAMS and supporting documentation are available and meet site requirements.
* Coordinate activities to avoid conflicting jobs and ensure work does not compromise plant safety or operation.
* Permit administration: Receive, check, record and track permits for maintenance and contractor work.
* Liaise with contractors, maintenance teams and operations to ensure work is planned and authorised.
* Track active, suspended and completed permits, including outstanding actions and expiry times.
