The Opportunity
Due to internal progression we now have an excellent opportunity for a Technical Manager. Working within our Concrete Products team, you’ll take ownership of the mixture design and optimisation for our Concrete Blocks.
As the Technical Manager you’ll have a real opportunity to drive our green initiative forward by sourcing and including alternative materials into the mixture design of Concrete Blocks to help reduce carbon footprint.
Our Concrete Blocks factories spread the full length of England, so you’ll cover our 8 sites from the South Coast to Northern England to lead on site audits and carry out technical reviews of products onsite such as compliance, raw material usage and manufacturing issues.
You’ll ensure product compliance and carry out trials whilst maintain records of materials, mixture designs and test data.
Who are you?
You’ll take ownership of this products, so will need to be confident in making decisions around the materials used in the construction industry.
Our Concrete Products Head office is at Hulland Ward, Derbyshire with our Concrete Blocks sites all across England. So you’ll need to be comfortable with travelling to various sites and managing stakeholders in different locations.
You’ll have a technical background, with responsibilities for a mixture design within the construction/ building materials industry or an excellent understanding of concrete products through experience in a manufacturing environment.
