Stafforce are recruiting for an experienced, hands-on and commercially minded Technical Manager to join a growing manufacturing and imported products business in Loughborough.
Technical Manager
Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire
Salary: £45,000-£50,000 per annum DOE
Working pattern: Fully on-site
Annual leave: 25 days' holiday, plus bank holidays.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Technical Manager with a strong background in product development, product compliance, quality assurance and supplier management. The successful candidate will lead the Technical Team and play a key role in supporting product quality, compliance and continuous improvement across the business.
Key responsibilities
Lead New Product Development and Existing Product Development activities.
Take ownership of product testing, technical documentation and compliance.
Drive supplier and factory quality improvement initiatives.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions relating to product and warranty issues.
Provide cross-functional technical support to service and customer support teams.
Manage, support and develop the Technical Team.
Build effective relationships with suppliers, factories and internal stakeholders.
About you
Proven experience in technical management or senior technical engineering.
Strong understanding of product compliance and conformity documentation.
Experience working with overseas suppliers and factories.
Background in quality assurance and continuous improvement.
Ability to manage, mentor and develop a technical team.
Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
Experience within an electro-mechanical, consumer products, engineering, industrial or manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
Willingness to undertake occasional UK and overseas travel to suppliers, factories and trade shows.
