Do you have experience of new build housing and are looking for your next career move?
Sphere Solutions have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Manager to join an award-winning Housing Developer, Exeter based but offering agile working. Armed with either an engineering or architectural background, the suitable candidate will take responsibility for the management of the design functions for the business.
Offering a thorough and efficient approach to design, development and management, you will team of like-minded professionals, taking the helm the inception of a project through to its completion. Creating homes across the South West, priding themselves on sustainable construction methods.
Suitable candidates will provide technical knowledge and experience at both the pre-development, construction and post construction stages of sites. Manage/co-ordinate the complete design process and have good working knowledge of design standards, building regulations and planning guidance.
You will possess the following:
* Experience in a similar role will be essential, ideally housing developer background
* Knowledge of modern build methods, efficient design techniques and sub structures
* Have knowledge of funding criteria relevant to the affordable housing sector
* Professional qualification - Degree, HND/HNC.
* Good IT skills, AutoCAD and MS365
* Commercially aware
* Full driving license
