Salary: Circa £50,000

A leading food importer and distributor is seeking a motivated Technical Manager to join their team. This role offers excellent career progression opportunities.

As the Technical Manager, you will ensure supplier compliance with food safety and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include managing the supplier approval process, maintaining due diligence systems, auditing suppliers, and supporting BRC Agent & Brokers certification. You will also manage key customer relationships, handle technical queries, and oversee escalated complaints.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Food Science or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in the food industry. Experience with food factories, foodservice, and major manufacturing customers is desirable. Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills are essential.
