Responsibilities include:
* Drive profitability through strategic decision-making, market analysis, and effective pricing strategies.
* Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify new opportunities and develop innovative solutions to meet customer demands.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction.
* Exceptional communication skills to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and identify growth opportunities.
* Oversee supplier compliance and packhouse operations to maintain quality assurance programs.
* Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and industry best practices.
* Optimise operational efficiency, quality control, and product traceability.
* Willingness and flexibility to travel within the UK and overseas to visit suppliers, customers, and industry events.
* Proactively build relationships, monitor quality standards, and stay up-to-date with market trends.
* Spanish and/or Afrikaans speaking is advantageous
* Experience or an understanding of a high care facility is advantageous
