Technical Manager
Alexander Steele have partnered with a leading fresh produce business based in Kent. Due to recent growth of the business has an exciting opportunity for an experienced technical manager to join their site on a permanent basis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with M&S and Tesco in previous positions.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop the technical and quality team to ensure that all products produced meet food safety, quality, and legal requirements.
* Continuous development of business management systems to ensure product quality meets the organisation and customer quality standards.
* Conduct regular audits and inspections of the production facility to identify areas of improvement and address any non-compliance issues.
* Implement and overseeing GMP, HACCP, microbiological and QC checks.
Experience:
* Experience in technical/quality management roles within fresh produce businesses.
* Excellent working knowledge of BRC standards.
* Specific experience working with M&S and Tesco preferred.
* Lead audit experience
* Qualified to Level 4 HACCP and/or Food Hygiene Certificate Level 4
* Proven ability to successfully influence stakeholders across all levels of the business.
What’s on Offer:
