Salary: £39,540 - £44,495 Pro rata per annum
Location: Scunthorpe / Doncaster

The vacancy

Join our team at DN Colleges and lead the way in managing our business-critical data an information asset. We’re looking for a specialist with a passion for data, innovation, and excellence to join the team.

The purpose and scope of the role are strategic leadership, providing expert knowledge and lead processes supporting DN Colleges IT and Digital infrastructure, and aligning with the groups strategic plan. The purpose of the role is also ensuring Operational Excellence, covering consistent practice across services, aligning strategies and priorities.

As a Technical Lead – Data and Information, you’ll be responsible for the design, development and supporting data and information assets (aligned with strategic needs). You will put innovation and collaboration at the forefront of your work, leading on policy implementation, service improvement and cross-functional working. You will also be responsible for subject matter expertise in reporting, data visualisation and new technologies.

The successful candidate will possess a degree in a relevant field (or equivalent), along with Maths & English GCSE (or equivalent). You will also have demonstrable experience as a Technical Data & Information Manager. Experience in an FE or HE setting is desirable but not essential.
