Role: Technical Estimator
Hours of Work:
Holiday Entitlement: 26 days per annum
Approx Salary: £35,000
Connect Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a dynamic company for a Technical Estimator position in Wolverhampton. If you have a keen eye for detail and experience in technical estimation, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate customer specifications and requirements to develop accurate and competitive cost estimates
* Estimate customer jobs to include bills of material and the best manufacturing route
* Collaborate with sales, production, expediting, subcon, and quality departments
* Load order and build jobs on the computer system using the most efficient methods
* Regular contact with customers by phone and email
* General housekeeping
Required Experience:
* Proven experience in special fastener estimating
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Computer literate, with knowledge of Excel and Word
* Excellent communication skills
* Keen eye for detail
* Sales experience advantageous but not essential
