Technical Coordinator
West Yorkshire
£35,000k & Benefits.
Keen to speak to quality and/or technical professionals with a food manufacturing background who can step into the shoes of the Technical Manager in their absence. This could be a great stepping stone for someone growing in their career.
The Candidate.
* Ideally you will have a food science or relevant degree.
* You will need to have at least 5-10 years’ experience within the quality or technical department within a food manufacturing and/or importer of food products.
* Must have experience in systems, specification, customer reporting, admin and internal and external audits.
* You should have worked towards BRC V9.
* You will be a go getter with the ability to work alone and alongside a team.
* Excellent written and verbal communication is required.
* Must have the right to work in the UK as no sponsorship is being offered.
The Role.
* Completing internal specifications with regular reviews, writing and interpreting specifications including using customer portals.
* Maintain the onsite quality standards and compliance. Ensuring the site is always audit ready.
* Support and lead root cause analysis investigations.
* Respond to customer complaints, customer requests, technical documentation and specs.
* Deputise for the Technical Manager in their absence.
