We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Compliance Officer – Fire Safety to support a busy local authority property and compliance team on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in fire safety compliance, property maintenance, building surveying, or compliance within public sector or large property portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting fire safety remediation works across a varied property portfolio
* Assisting with compliance monitoring and ensuring adherence to fire safety legislation and best practice
* Managing and coordinating works arising from Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs)
* Liaising with contractors, surveyors, and internal stakeholders to progress remedial actions
* Supporting the development and monitoring of fire safety compliance frameworks
* Maintaining accurate records, compliance documentation, and audit trails
* Assisting with procurement and organisation of fire safety related works
* Promoting a strong culture of safety and compliance across the organisation
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience within fire safety compliance, property compliance, surveying, or building maintenance
* Knowledge of fire safety legislation and compliance standards
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple workstreams and maintain accurate records
* Experience working with contractors and stakeholders
* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
