Location: Wymondham, Norfolk
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

The Opportunity ISQ Recruitment are supporting an established food production business in their search for a Technical Compliance Coordinator to join their team near Wymondham, Norfolk.
This is a varied opportunity for someone with a background in Quality
Assurance, Technical or Compliance who enjoys working across different areas of a food production business.
Working closely with the Technical Manager, you'll help maintain and develop systems covering Food Safety, Quality, Health & Safety, Animal Welfare and Regulatory Compliance, ensuring the business remains compliant and audit-ready.
The client is open to considering candidates at different stages of their careers, from developing QA professionals looking to broaden their experience through to established Technical or Compliance specialists who can bring additional knowledge and take greater ownership of key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and develop Quality Management Systems (QMS), technical documentation and compliance records.
Support food safety, quality, Health & Safety and animal welfare compliance across the business.
Assist with the preparation, coordination and follow-up of internal, customer and third-party audits.
Monitor non-conformances, corrective actions and continuous improvement activities.
Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safe systems of work and associated documentation.
Maintain accurate records and support technical reporting and compliance monitoring.
Work closely with the Technical Manager and operational teams to ensure standards are consistently maintained. What We're Looking For We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience in Quality Assurance, Technical, Food Safety or Compliance, particularly within food production, agriculture or another regulated industry.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Previous experience in a QA, Technical or Compliance-related position.
Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
Good understanding of food safety, quality systems and compliance procedures.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and confidence maintaining technical records.
Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
A practical, proactive approach and the ability to work with colleagues across different departments. Additional experience that would be particularly valuable:
HACCP, COSHH and Health & Safety procedures.
Internal auditing, audit preparation and corrective action management.
BRCGS, Red Tractor Assured or RSPCA Assured standards.
Developing or improving quality systems, SOPs and compliance processes.
Previous responsibility for coordinating technical or compliance activities. Why Consider This Opportunity?
