Technical Compliance Assistant

Fantastic opportunity offered to join an established and highly successful Fresh Produce supplier to retail and wholesale customers. At an exciting time of positive change, I have the privilege of offering an opportunity to join the business in a newly created role, working with an impressive Head of Technical as Technical Compliance Assistant.

This position will work to support the technical function and work closely with the Quality Manager to offer support to the quality control team.
Key responsibilities will include;
Management and support across -

* Traceability

* Complaints / Rejections

* Product / Customer Specifications

* Packaging / Labelling due diligence

* Weekly visits to 3rd party packing facilities

A key position within the technical team, the successful individual will gain the opportunity to work with colleagues based at source, 3rd party service providers, the inhouse quality team, and an impressive Head of Technical who can support and develop technical knowledge going forward.

An individual who has worked as a Product Manager, Senior QC, Quality Assistant, Quality Auditor, Technical Assistant, or in a product quality focused position, will become part of a supportive business with exposure to impressive industry veterans and develop a technical career with the opportunity to make a real impact on future company success.

Requirements;
Experience within the Fresh Produce or Chilled Food sectors
Exposure to product quality standards, BRC, HACCP, and customer platforms is key Confident, passionate approach, with the ambition to achieve success and work positively as part of a team

Salary: £30-32k dependent on experience offered
Location: Kent, commutable from Kent and Essex
Shift: 5 days out of 7 (incl. 1 weekend day)
Hours: 8.00am - 5.00pm
