Purpose of the Job

1. To provide procurement operational business support in a timely manner, including:

* Managing the end-to-end process of:

* Responding to an internal or external customer need

* Generating and issuing RFQ documentation

* Supporting supplier evaluation and re-evaluation

* Identifying, appraising, approving and creating vendors in the ERP system

* Placing accurate purchase orders in the ERP system

* Expediting deliveries on time and in full

* Resolving invoice queries where applicable

2. To support supplier development activities/improvements in the areas of:

* Cost

* Delivery

* Quality

3. Develop and work within policy and procedural departmental requirements (e.g. ISO9001)

Main duties to be carried out

1. Work closely with Quality to achieve product/component conformance

2. Responsible for identification, selection and onboarding of suppliers (NDA, RFQ, RTQ)

3. Timely Planning/Scheduling of all components/tooling accordingly to a defined ETRS

4. Analysis of RTQ’s, quotations to identify possible nominations/selections

5. Manage procurement task responsibilities as a whole

6. Responsible for performance management of suppliers

7. Assist in sourcing strategies to reduce total acquisition cost and secure supplies

8. Work very closely with all functions to achieve delivery, cost and quality requirements

9. Support continuous improvement activities to achieve departmental and company objectives

10. Support all entities within the Saietta Group to achieve our global aspirations

11. Any other duties or tasks considered as reasonably necessary

12. To source at the lowest acquisition cost, whilst considering quality and timing demands

13. To expedite effectively to ensure business needs are met

14. To support cost saving initiatives where identified

15. To source vendors that achieve target costing aspirations
