Technical Author required for a leading technology manufacturer who boast a fantastic reputation within their sector.
As an experienced Technical Author, you will be familiar with writing content that maximises product usability, is technically accurate and adheres to current industry legislation. You will be part of a team that manages the translation and review process, working with their external translation providers and overseas offices. In addition to excellent technical writing skills, you will demonstrate a well-rounded understanding of engineering principles, attention to detail and a willingness to learn new technologies.

The Role:
*Produce, develop and maintain clear and concise technical documentation
*Collaborate with engineers and managers
*Produce and provide illustrations and pictures where required
*Test and update the written material with users
*Ensure technical information is organised, managed and published as per the required timescales
*Research, analyse and understand the technology and applications.
The Person:
*Experience in a previous technical author / technical writing position
*A recognised technical authoring qualification would be highly advantageous
*Experience in either the semiconductor, electro-mechanical or scientific sector will be highly advantageous and encouraged to apply
