Technical Assistant
Alexander Steele have partnered with a food processing business in Gloucestershire to recruit a motivated technical assistant. The successful candidate will focus on food safety, technical and quality along with managing the QMS in place within the business. Our client is looking for a pragmatic individual who is keen to grow and develop as a professional.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in monitoring and optimising manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and consistency.
* Conduct routine quality control tests and document results accurately.
* Support the implementation and maintenance of food safety and sanitation standards.
* Maintain detailed records of production data and report findings to senior technical staff.
* Assist in troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions.
Background Experience:
* Proven experience operating as a technical assistant/supervisor within the food industry within manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of BRC and retailer audits
* Excellent health and safety awareness
* Experience conducting internal audits.
* HACCP Level 3/4
