Salary: Up to £33,000 per year

About the Role:
As a Technical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance across the manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in internal and external audits
* Supporting the implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
* Upholding compliance with industry regulations and standards
* Carry out relevant assessments of ingredients to evaluate sustainability and compliance.
* Ensure effective traceability of raw materials from receipt to finished product
* Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, including BRC and HACCP
* Conduct routine checks and audits to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
* Provide technical support and guidance to the production team
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Relevant experience within the food and drink industry, particularly with raw materials, compliance, and QMS
* Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive approach and the ability to take initiative
* Eligibility to permanently work in the UK
