This is an excellent opportunity for an architect who enjoys technically challenging schemes involving full building refurbishment, façade retention and complex internal reconfiguration, while taking a key role in detailed design and technical delivery within a collaborative, design-focused studio.

The Role

You will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality residential refurbishment projects through RIBA Stages 4 onwards, working closely with internal teams and external consultants to ensure well-coordinated, buildable design solutions that maintain strong design intent.

Key responsibilities include:

*

Producing detailed design information, technical packages and contract documentation

*

Leading and supporting project delivery through RIBA Stages 4 onwards

*

Working on complex refurbishment schemes involving full strip-out back to frame and façade retention

*

Developing and coordinating Revit models and drawing information within a BIM environment

*

Working closely with consultants, contractors and internal design teams

*

Resolving technical and coordination challenges on complex multi-unit residential refurbishment projects

*

Supporting site and construction stage activities, including responding to RFIs and technical queries

*

Contributing to the delivery of extensive internal fit-out packages on complex schemes

About You

We are looking for someone who brings:

*

minimum 4–5 years post-Part 3 architectural experience

*

Strong UK experience in high-end, multi-unit residential refurbishment projects

*

Proven track record delivering RIBA Stages 4 onwards

*

Experience in complete strip-out, façade retention and complex refurbishment projects

*

Experience in high-quality internal fit-out on complex buildings

*

Strong Revit skills and confidence working in BIM-led environments

*

Experience producing contract documentation and detailed technical information

*

Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and refurbishment detailing

*

Experience working on complex or large-scale residential/mixed-use projects

*

Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

*

A good balance of technical capability and design awareness

Why Apply?

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex residential refurbishment architecture within a design-led environment where technical excellence and design quality are equally valued. You will be part of a collaborative team delivering challenging, detail-driven schemes with real architectural ambition.

If you are a technically strong Architect who enjoys working on complex refurbishment and fit-out projects and thrives in a team-focused studio environment, we would be pleased to hear from you
